How Did Othello Die?
A question which frequently includes Shakespearean plays would be: Just how did Othello perish? I believe it is interesting that the drama does not tell us that himself killed Othello. As it is tricky to understand how that the Duke could have shot at Othello, this really can be an interesting fact.
Othello was known for being a charming and humorous man. The Duke had been in the Marines for many years and had been known as a kind and caring man. I think that if Othello had been a white man he would have agreed with Othello. In this era white men were allowed to have slaves and it was acceptable to have a slave girl as a lover or friend.
Othello was not perfect but he was a man of honor. He did not want Desdemona to get away with murder. He knew that the decision had to be made quickly because he was dead.
